Obviously, FF7:AC is fairly new, because there isn't too much information on it yet.
However, the teaser trailers have been circulating the net for quite some time now,
and some things have been speculated, yet not confirmed. We have no idea what happens
with Aeris in this movie. It could just be a flashback sequence.If you haven't already guessed it, Advent Children is a movie based on Final Fantasy VII. It takes place two years after the end of the game, when Meteor's crash was prevented by the lifestream. Cloud has grown out of his blue SOLDIER uniform and fit himself into a nice, black suit... with a missing sleeve.
In this sequel to FF7, Cloud has many modern devices like a cellphone and space for extra weaponry on the battlefield. Actually, scratch that, no battlefield. You don't put up with random battle encounters in a movie, do you? No, you don't.
Look forward to seeing Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children on DVD and UMD within the next year here in the states.
